New (old) PRA Request

Posted October 8th, 2007 by Joe Kaiser

My purpose is to document why this action failed, the total costs to the taxpayers of the State of Washington as a result of this failure, and upon whom within the office of the Attorney General responsibility for this failure rests.

Dear Rob,

I’ve requested information regarding the Monte Kline lawsuit in the past, yet as of this date have received nothing.

What gives?

Jessica Shenck,

Once again, and under the Public Records Act, I am requesting the Monte Kline public record described below.

You may send it either to me (an arrangement we worked out earlier with my former attorney, Steven Davies), or to my current attorney.

In any case, please advise. Thank you.

I hereby request a copy of the complete public record in the investigation and prosecution of the CPA matter involving the Office of the Attorney General and Pacific Health Center – Monte Kline.

Said request shall include all writings, all accountings as to actual and related costs, as well as any and all other public record relevant to this matter.

My purpose is to document why this action failed, the total costs to the taxpayers of the State of Washington as a result of this failure, and upon whom within the office of the Attorney General responsibility for this failure rests.

I am also interested in any subsequent reviews or evaluations of the case itself and the attorneys in charge of the case, particularly as they relate to your office’s effort, if any, in preventing another million plus dollar loss of taxpayer funds in what is ultimately determined to be a misguided and unwarranted CPA action.

Please confirm receipt of this request and advise as to estimated costs and time required to provide. Thank you.

Joseph Kaiser

I think it’s long since time we get to the bottom of this and put a real dollar value on what these bogus lawsuits cost the taxpayers of this state.

Don’t you, Rob?

In the arena,

Joe Kaiser

    Yea!!!

Good for you for asking this. It might, however, take these morons years to figure out who they are going to stick the blame on.

Actually, having said that, I recall from painful personal experience of a family member, that they are very adept at hiring a scapegoat and then firing that person after a few months, blaming that person for failing to accomplish what they had failed to do for several years.

So… their response will be interesting and will need to be examined carefully. I predict this: that the blame will be focused on someone no longer there or someone at a lower level. No one near the top will have the integrity to admit responsibility, even though it was theirs to claim. Speaking of which, we all know that if this was positive series of events, that those at the top would be all over, claiming it, issuing news releases, holding news conferences, trumpeting it in their internal newsletters, etc.

One thing this WA government is fairly good at is internal letters and documentation, some of which severely conflict with prior letters from the same person. It would be very enlightening to see those letters, which are public property as well.

These people, who are paid to serve the citizens of WA turn my stomach, literally. Gonna eat a few antacid tablets.
