Public Records Request to King County

Posted February 28th, 2008 by Joe Kaiser

Would it stem from the fact that King County, under Phil Sanders’ apparent direction, has effectively stolen $93k from Gordon, his son?

Dear Rob,

King County appears to have pulled a fast one, and it sickens me.

Of course, as always when conjecturing, I may be completely wrong and everything may in fact be copacetic. But I doubt it.

In any case, my letter to Paula Adams, Public Disclosure Director for the King County treasurer, ended as follows . . .

Finally, I have made repeated requests for the Robert Elliot foreclosure file. Where is it? Why is there a delay? Would it stem from the fact that King County, under Phil Sanders’ apparent direction, has effectively stolen $93k from Gordon, his son?— Recent email to King County
Public Disclosure Director Paula Adams

Stolen?

You’d better believe it.

In the arena,

Joe Kaiser

Would like more details, but it sounds more like misdirection.

When I get the docs, I’ll let you know. From what I’ve seen so far, it’s nothing short of theft (and on a very big scale).
