And the magic number is . . .
Me thinks your office purposely waited until after your legislation was signed because you knew those records would expose it for the hoax it is.
Dear Rob,
I asked your office for copies of all complaints you’ve received regarding foreclosure rescue scams.
You know, cases where someone “handed over” his home, to use your words, to an investor with the understanding he’d be able to lease it and later buy it back, but ultimately couldn’t make the rent payments and was evicted.
Those are the cases said to be on the rise, so much so your office asked for new legislation to address the so-called problem.
Psych!
Sorry, getting ahead of myself here.

HB 2791? A Monstrosity
And who will write the checks that stop foreclosure in this state?
Dear Rob,
By requesting a new law designed to prevent foreclosure rescue scams, you’ve effectively doomed thousands of WA residents who might otherwise have been able to save their homes.
Now, with the certain passage of HB 2791, no investor will risk doing business with people in foreclosure and homeowners will have no one to turn to.
The result?
Foreclosures in our state will skyrocket.

Joan and Sally in the house
Get the darn thing cleaned up and all the garbage hauled to the dump so it was again livable (and sellable).

She and her sister Sally were in a pickle and wanted to know if I could help.
Could I?
You’d better believe it.

Lisa Frazier and my missing $19k, Part 1
I am, after all, the Tiger Woods of foreclosure rescue.
Dear Rob,
Last year, in Mason County, we did a deal with Nina and her husband Mark.
It’s an interesting situation and definitely something I’ll need to get cleaned up once things settle down a bit.
How will I do that?
I’ll have to sue them, all because of Lisa Frazier.

I Can Dodge Bullets
. . . your office has demonstrated it's pretty much clueless about what's important to people in foreclosure.
Dear Rob,
I pulled the trigger on another foreclosure rescue last week, over-nighting $15,000 to Ohio to save a gal from losing her home.
A buddy of mine had knocked on her door to let her know what we could do to help her.
By then, she’d given up all hope of keeping her home and was doing all she could just to keep herself together.
